Paralyzed by Time

I'm waiting for the productivity gene to click in...
It's Spring Break and I had planned so many things I was going to take care of
I was going to work - so I'm doing a little of that
But I was also going to clean my closet, write lots of letters, watch lots of movies
I'm doing a whole lot of nothing, well, except eating...
The luxury of time, in a sense, has caused a little paralysis for me.

  1. I, too, have realized how important parameters and structure are to me. It's so hard to get motivated when things are so uncertain.

  2. In a way it's a short break from the uncertainty of the rest of the school year for me (probably not for you) but even so, not many projects are getting done around here either.

  3. Isn't this the truth! I feel stagnant, like I cannot get going or flowing. I do better under pressure! I hope you can get something done over break that both want and feel the need to do!

  4. I sent a comment...not sure it went through. Having trouble with blogger accounts today. Anyway, isn't what you wrote the truth?! I feel stagnant.....not getting much of anything done. It's actually annoying me. I hope you can end spring break by accomplishing something you both want and need to do. Take care!

  5. If it weren't for my outside work, which really isn't work, I'd have to say the same. Not much is getting done in this around here either. You are not the first friend to use the word paralyzed.

  6. Knowing you, the productivity gene will click in full force soon enough. Paralysis may provide essential rest before that happens again.
